Funeral at St Pauls, Carlton on 12th September 10:00am.

To all of Christine's relatives and friends, I extend sincerest condolences on behalf of the North Riding College Former Students' Association. We believe her to have been the final member of the first intake of trainee teachers when the College opened in 1948. She was a frequent and welcome visitor to our annual reunions, at which I had the pleasure of meeting her several times, such a smashing lady and a real character. John D. A lovely person Wing walking in her 90s! She was a remarkable person. Dedicated her life to her parents and her job of course. Fly high your needed to teach the toddlers up there to read and write. Thank you for caring xxlove Elaine. Mum of Andrea Mark and Dena Bennett. Xxx
